A little Will Humour

Here at M C Will Writers Ltd we really do appreciate the solemn atmosphere surrounding the writing of your Will. However we thought we would share with you some of the more bizarre and unusual Wills that have been written through the ages. Enjoy

• Samual Bratt, used his Will to get revenge on his wife. Samual loved a cigar, however his wife never allowed him to smoke them. After his death he left his wife 330,000 pounds. To recieve this bequest however she had to smoke 5 cigars a day for the rest of her life.
• George Harris, a Canadian farmer died in a horrific and tragic farming accident in 1948. Later when friends visited the scene of the accident they noticed some writing on the bumper of his tractor, it read.   " in case I die in this mess, I leave all to the wife " The bumper was removed and transported to the local court. This bumper was duly admitted as Harris`s Last Will And Testament. ( please note that M C Will Writers do not recommend this however )
• Solomon Sanborn, a hatmaker died in 1871. He left his body to medical science with one proviso. His skin was to be tanned and used to make two drums that would be given to a friend. At dawn every 17th June his friend had to go to Bunker Hill and pound out " Yankee Doodle Dandy " on the drums to celebrate the anniversary of the famous battle.
• An un-named testator had a long running battle with his local Tax Office. On his death he left them a Lemon to be delivered with a hand written note, it simply read, " Squeeze this you blood sucking *****"      nuff said I think
• Anthony Scott, simply wrote in his Last Will And Testament " to my first wife sue, whom I always promised a mention in my Will....................Hello Sue "
• Roger Morris , left 250 pounds to the crew of his local RNLI to be spent on a   " booze up "
• Sarah Clarke left 1pound to her daughter when she died, with the comment   " in return for all the love and kindness you have never showed me "
• A cheeky snippet from a Will, I wish peace and affluence to all of my friends, and a piece of effluence to all of my enemies.
• A mustache hater - Henry Budd`s Will left 200,000 pounds to his sons on the condition that they never grew one. Mathew Flemming obviously had a similar dislike. He left his employees 10 pounds each, however those with mustaches only got 5 pounds.
• WHOOOPS. In Philip Hall`s Will he made a calculation that read 2+2+5=10, well we all make mistakes. Mr hall though was a Professor of pure mathematics.
