Why you should write a Will

Nearly all of us at some point have considered making our Wills. Even the most sensible of us often wrongly assume that making a Will is something for the future, or that, " nothing will happen to me " others feel that making a Will is in some way morbid.

Tens of thousands of people every year have their bereavement compounded by the fact that their loved ones left no clear instructions on how to deal with their estate when they die.

A recent survey shoed that almost everyone wrongly assumed over who would benefit if they died without making a Will. Most people assumed their spouse
" automatically " inherits everything they own, sadly they were very wrong. Also presently unmarried couples have no guaranteed rights to inherit anything whatsoever. And only married couples can guarantee to inherit anything, if there is a Will, depending on the size of the estate.

Making a Will is the only way to ensure that your wishes are carried out after your death. If you have not made a Will your property will be dealt with according to the law of intestacy. This almost certainly will not be in way you would have wished. In any event it is likely to take longer to finalise than if you had made a Will. During this time your beneficiaries may not be able to draw from your estate.

If you are a parent you should consider who you would want to care for your children if you die. A valid Will nominating guardians is invaluable in such cases. If no-one knows what your wishes are then the courts will decide on the future of your children, this may not be what either you or your children would have wished.

We offer one of the most affordable and comprehensive means of guaranteeing peace of mind for both you and the ones you care for the most.
You only pay a fixed guaranteed cost, unlike most solicitors and banks.
We cater for married and unmarried couples, same sex partnerships and the singles over the age of eighteen.
